Among the key changes, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s close aide and trusted Principal Secretary, Sanjay Prasad, has once again been entrusted with the responsibility of the Home Department.

Deepak Kumar, previously in charge of the Home Department, has been relieved of his duties and assigned the additional responsibility of Principal Secretary, Basic Education Department.

Anil Garg has been freed from his position as the State Nodal Officer for the Prime Minister’s Agricultural Irrigation Scheme and given the responsibility of the Irrigation, Water Resources, and Land Development Department.
Sanjay Prasad’s Return to Home Department
Sanjay Prasad has been assigned the Home, Confidential, Visa Passport, and Vigilance Department in addition to his current position, marking his return to the pivotal role in the Home Department.
